So, life threw me a curve ball, then it plunked me in the face with a high hard one, then, while I was writhing in pain in the batter’s box, it stomped on my groin with a set of dull, steel spikes.

But now it’s 2018.  I know it’s just another day, but symbolically, and actually, today is the perfect day to start fresh.

It’s not going to be easy.  It’s not going to be pretty.  I’m not ready.  But this is not about being ready, this is about being willing and able.

I just need a little motivation.  I tried plugging through NaNoWriMo, getting to about 19K words.  That left me about 31K short of their goal.  NaNoWriMo came at a really bad time.  I’m not saying things are perfect now, but I need to start finishing what I started to finish at the start.

Thus, HămBōCrăMō is born.  January is now Hammond Book Cramming Month- 31 thousand words in 31 days.

You should join me.  Would you like to know more?  Later, I gotta pace myself.

Until next time, don’t bother me.  I’m cramming a book.
